This policy explains what the Drafter Toolbox collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to draftertoolbox.com, operated by Drafter Inc. We built the toolbox to be usable without an account, and we try to collect as little as possible.
When you use an AI tool, your prompt (along with any tool context or uploaded drawing you provide) is sent to third-party AI model providers through an AI gateway in order to generate a response. Depending on the model you select, providers may include vendors such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and xAI. We rely on providers’ enterprise/API offerings, which are generally configured for zero data retention and do not train foundation models on your inputs; however, the exact handling is governed by each provider’s terms.
We also use trusted infrastructure vendors to host the site, store files, and run our database. These vendors process data only to provide their services to us.
Please do not submit information you are not authorized to disclose. Because inputs, drawings, and messages may leave your device and be processed by third-party AI and cloud providers, you should not upload employer-confidential, trade-secret, classified, or export-controlled material (including ITAR/EAR-controlled technical data) unless you are permitted to share it with such services. You are responsible for ensuring your submissions comply with your organization’s policies and applicable law.
We retain uploaded files and conversation history to provide the Service and may remove them periodically or on request. Analytics data is retained in aggregate. You can clear your local session (and its association with your history) by clearing this site’s cookies in your browser.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the AI providers and infrastructure vendors needed to run the Service, and when required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of users.
We use a small number of cookies: one for the anonymous session identifier described above, and cookies used by our analytics and performance tooling. Blocking cookies may limit features such as conversation history.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; another reason not to submit material you are not permitted to share.
The Service is intended for professional and educational use by adults and is not directed to children under 13.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
